Parent Viewer Directions

If you have access to the Internet, you can view your student’s attendance and grades on the North Muskegon Public School's website. We have a secure system called “Parent Internet Viewer” that allows parents access to their student’s grades by using a unique ID and PIN Code. Follow the instructions below to see a variety of information about your student.

1. Connect to the Internet and open your web browser (such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer)
2. Go to the North Muskegon  Public School's website.  The address is: www.nmps.k12.mi.us

(Type this into the address/location window of your browser)

3. On the left side of our website is a list of several links. Click on the "Parents" link,  under   "Resources for:"

4. A new window opens; click the words that say "Click Here to Begin".
In the next window click on the same words again.

5. Enter your student's ID in the student ID box. The student ID is the same as the student number, which is on every schedule and report card.

Note that as you type this number you will only see asterisks (*) in place of the numbers you type.  This is for security purposes.

6. Enter your student’s PIN Code in the PIN Code box.  Please do not request PIN Codes over the telephone; if you don’t have your PIN Code, have your student contact any of his/her classroom teachers.

Note that as you type this number you will only see asterisks (*) in place of the numbers you type.  This is for security purposes.

7. Click the button that says "Request Report".

8. A report will come up that shows the report card for your student's entire schedule.

  • If you'd like to view one class at a time, go to the drop down box under “Class Selection” and choose the class you’d like to view, then click the “Request Report” button.

Your list of items will appear differently depending on your student’s schedule

  • If you’d like to view a different type of report, click the drop down box under “Report Selection” and choose the report you’d like to view, then click the “Request Report” button.

Your list of items will appear differently depending on your student’s schedule

  • You can print your reports by going to File/Print in your browser. The File menu is found in the upper left corner of most browsers.
