The bell at the North Muskegon Football field has family ties to elementary teacher, Mary Bakale. It was the bell on an American Civil War Army train that her great-grandfather, E. H. Sheldon purchased. It now rings when the mighty Norsemen have won a competition on their home field. Click the link for a video story.
